On Saturday March 31, Kelly’s Realty hosted its grand opening and open house event at the intersection of Route 3 and Zacata Road in Montross.
The event was attended by some 300 people who enjoyed, free barbeque, face painting for children and a chance to win cash from local radio station WRAR during their on location live broadcast. The Sheriff’s Department was also on hand to provide finger-printing forms that assist in keeping children safe in the event of an emergency.
Husband and wife owners, Jakie and Jennifer Kelly were more than pleased with the day’s events.
“We’ve had a nice turn out all day and the city of Montross really made us feel welcome,” said Jennifer. “It’s not often that you go to a new place and feel at home, but Montross has shown us that we do have cheerleaders; we love Montross.”
Her husband Jakie knows the area well – he was born and raised in Kinsale.
The Kellys have partnered with a division of EVB, a respected community bank celebrating its 100 years of business. EVB Mortgage is proud to be the community mortgage lender. With an EVB Mortgage Loan Professional on site, Westmoreland County residents can call at anytime to arrange a no-obligation consultation.
“I’m really excited for Jakie and Jennifer Kelly. We partnered with them, began our plan and here we are,” said Hannah Belk-Patrick, loan administrative assistant with EVB. “We look forward to working together with them for a long time to see their dream come to fruition.”
Jakie was happy with the event’s turn-out.
“I am very happy with the turn out and we met many new faces today that I hope to see again in the near future,” he said. “I’m looking forward to helping the people here achieve their goal of home ownership. We’re here to serve.”
