Two men are facing felony drug charges following a search warrant served at a Kinsale home in the evening of Aug. 27.

Westmoreland County Sheriff C.O. Balderson said the search warrant was served on a home on Skipjack Road at 7:11 p.m. Timothy J. Coffaney, 52, and Scott D. Nowak, 43, both residing at the home on Skipjack Road, were arrested without incident.

Coffaney was charged with manufacturing marijuana, a felony, Balderson said. Nowak was charged with possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license related to a separate DUI incident.

Balderson said deputies recovered marijuana plants, drug paraphernalia and an AK47 weapon from the home. The estimated street value of the plants is $3,100, Balderson said.

Both men were released on their personal recognizances and were scheduled to appear in Westmoreland County’s General District Court on Aug. 28.
