Open invitation to lunch. St. Mary’s Episcopal Church parish hall in Colonial Beach is hosting its Monthly Community Lunch – Soup, Bread, Beverage, noon – 3 p.m. No cost to you – just come, eat, visit

Sunday, Feb. 3
Gospel Music with Peggylee Gospel Sounds and Friends also open mic at Warsaw Church of God on at 2 p.m. The church is located on Rt. 360 Richmond Road. Everyone is welcome. For more information call Peggy, 804-472-9356.

Friday, Feb. 1
St. James’ Montross, the Rt. Rev. Susan Goff, Suffragan Bishop of Virginia will induct the Rev. Alan Hooker as Rector of
St. James’. The service will be held at 5:30 p.m. and the public is invited. A reception will follow the service in the Parish Hall.

Wednesday, Feb. 6
St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Washington Ave., Colonial Beach, will host a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper. Doors open at 4:30 pm and close at 7 p.m. Pancakes, sausage and warm apples will be served. Adults: $7.50. Children under twelve: $4. Take out available.

Church in Zacata, and Brothers in Christ from the Maranatha Baptist Church
in Colonial Beach.
