Rappahannock Baptist Church will hold a “Roast Beef Dinner and Silent Auction” from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Westmoreland Volunteer Fire Department in Montross. Eat in or take out. All proceeds benefit the Fellowship Hall Building Fund. Call 493-8192 for more info. $

Saturday, April 27
Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser at Providence United Methodist Church, 5417 Stratford Hall Rd., Montross, 5 p.m. Take out available.

National Drug Take Back Initiative, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Colonial Beach Police Dept. Bring old and expired medications to the Dept. for safe, discreet disposal. Liquid medications should have the caps tightly secured and no sharp objects be deposited. No one required to identify themselves or to sign any paper. Last year Colonial Beach Police Dept. collected 28.8 pounds of expired medications. Info 804-224-0141
