Mary Virginia Tate Dean

Mary Tate Dean passed away May 3, 2013. She was born August 12, 1938 in Westmoreland County to Tom and Ruth Tate.
She acknowledged Christ as her Savior at Zion Baptist Church, later moving her membership to Jerusalem Baptist Church. She was educated in Westmoreland County Public schools and was employed with Bevans Oyster Company.
Mary was predeceased by her parents; daughter, Angelique Cross; sisters, Lucille Clark and Pauline Ball and brother, James “Jim” Carey.
Surviving are her beloved husband whom she married July 3, 2004, Warren Dean; children, John Wayne Campbell (Maude), Floyd Campbell Jr. (Rose), Raymond Campbell (Christine), Joyce Ann Ball (Larry), Burnestine Tate (Jimmy), Michael Campbell, Orlando Gibson (Tomeka), Daniel Turner, and Michelle Rich; brothers, John Tate (Mary Tina), Tom Tate (Lillian), Sherman Tate; sisters, Carrie Smith, Irene Burton, Ruth Carter (Pie), Louise Tate and Joan Pratt; five stepchildren; 33 grandchildren (three she raised, ¬ Tangie Turner, Charles Payne Jr. and Chatonya Payne); 36 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held May 10 at Jerusalem Baptist Church. Pastor Gerald Smith officiated. Pastor Darryl E. Fisher, Eulogist. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Funeral services entrusted to the Weldon-Fisher Funeral Home.

 
David Lynn Oldaker

David Lynn Oldaker, of Warrenton passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Mary Washington Hospital.  He was born on August 31, 1950 in Parsons, WV, and the son of Catherine Oldaker.
David worked for many years as the owner of Class V Outfitters and later as a contractor.
In addition to his mother, David is survived by his two children, Ashley Urban (Chris) of Winchester, and Harrison Oldaker of Chesapeake, Va; two grandchildren, Marta Cole and Seamus Urban; his girlfriend of 12 years, Renee Yount, of Warrenton; and his uncle Jim and aunt Nancy of Parsons, WV.

Mary Reiter

Mary passed away at age 93 on Feb. 22, 2013 where she lived in Hueytown, Al.
Mary was born on Aug. 17, 1919 in Blanche, N. C. to Monroe and Hallie Walters. She is survived by sons John Reiter (Lana) and Richard Reiter; five grandchildren, Laurie Shepherd (Travis), Matt Morrow (Kathy), Jason Morrow (Adrienne), Jessie Morrow, and Jennifer Reiter and four great-grandchildren, Jackson Shepherd, Naason Morrow, Faith Morrow and Brycen Morrow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Hallie Walters, sister, Catherine Walters, daughter, Carol Morrow and brother, John Walters.
A celebration of Mary Reiter’s life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church, Montross with Pastor Shayne Estes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
