Holiday shooting injures two, including child

An early Monday morning shooting in Westmoreland has left an 11-year-old boy hospitalized in critical condition and a 46-year-old man seriously injured.
The shooting took place near the 40 block of Dameron Drive in Oldhams. The victims were sitting in a Cadillac when unknown suspects fired into the vehicle eight times.
The boy is from Lancaster County and was visiting relatives. The adult man is from Warsaw.
A party had been held that night at a residence, according to Westmoreland Sheriff C.O. Balderson. The shooting occurred around 2:30 a.m. with a .357-caliber semi-automatic handgun.
There are no suspects at this time.
