Montross man arrested for more break-ins

Michael R. Bradshaw Jr. was arrested while in the Northern Neck Regional Jail on three counts related to a string of break-ins.

Michael R. Bradshaw Jr. of 3203 Grants Hill Church Road in Montross was arrested July 10 on charges relating to several break-ins in February and March of this year, according to Sheriff C.O. Balderson.

Bradshaw was served in Northern Neck Regional Jail, where he has been incarcerated since March on earlier charges related to those break-ins.

The most recent charges include one count of breaking and entering of Grants Hill Baptist Church; one count of grand larceny in the theft of a flat screen TV and a safe; and one count of willful and malicious breaking of a door or window of a house of public worship with damage less than $1000.

Bradshaw is being held without bond. His next court appearance will be July 16 in Westmoreland General District Court.

Investigation continues, says Sheriff Balderson, and more charges are forthcoming.
