Ra’Niyah Aleice Johnson
On June 30, 2013, Ra’Niyah Aleice Johnson entered into eternal rest. God whispered gently to his daughter, “Come on home, there’s no more suffering.”
In her short month on earth, she showed us strength and courage beyond imagination. She gave us hope and taught us faith. She left us with such great inspiration that even through the toughest times of our lives, we must trust in God and lean not to our own understanding. Even though her battle was lost, Ra’Niyah will always be remembered as our “Miracle Child.” She fought in every aspect until God said she didn’t have to suffer any more. We are grateful for the memories and joy she brought to our lives.
She is survived by her loving parents, TaKera Wright and Richard Johnson Jr.; her maternal grandparents, Herman and Connie Wright; her paternal grandmother, Jerlean Johnson; three aunts, Syreeta Ashton, LaTasha Harris (Jerome Peterson) and Shanteus Wright; seven cousins, Jalequa Wise, JaKayla Peterson, Jaylen Peterson, Ah’Shaun Johnson, Jayvion Peterson, Aziyah Johnson and Malaya Clarke and a host of loving great uncles, aunts, relatives and friends.
