Rivermen owners, King George High School earn praise by Mason Dixon League

 

Owner and head coach Dennis Cornwell received a number of accolades from the Mason Dixon Football League for his program built in the past four years and work in semipro football.

Owner and head coach Dennis Cornwell received a number of accolades from the Mason Dixon Football League for his program built in the past four years and work in semipro football.

The accolades continue to roll in for the Northern Neck Rivermen organization and their fans. Recently, owners Dennis and Erika Cornwell were named to the Mason Dixon Football League Hall of Fame. The two just finished their fourth season as owners of the Rivermen. Dennis serves as the coach and Erika as an administrator.

Dennis was also named the 2013 North Conference Coach of the Year. King George High School, who hosted the Rivermen home games, was credited for having the Best Facility in 2013.
