the playoffs, head coach Jonathan Parker’s motivation to improve is fully fueled following his team’s historic regular season last year.

“It was hard every night and I know all the games we won in the Northern Neck we fought tooth and nail. I was really proud of my kids,” Parker said.  “It was disappointing to lose in the district and region tournament, but overall it was a good season.”

Parker, last season’s coach of the year in the Northern Neck, returns with two all-district team members including Keane Foster and player of the year Montie Gould. Gould also capped off the year by earning all region and state honors.

“Everybody knows where Montie goes, we go. He’s a big time player,” Parker said. “As for Keane, I have confidence in him that he’s going to have a big year.”
