Planning Commission speaks to new member, discusses flood plan update

The Colonial Beach Planning Commission (PC) spoke with Robert Busick Jr, who has applied to become a member of the whittled down group. Standing at four out of seven members, the PC has been asking for applications for some time.

Busick, who is the owner/operator of local based Bay Haven Landscapes, appeared before the commission at the December meeting. Busick has been a part-time resident of CB since 2001 and a full-time resident since 2009.

Busick was a career United States Marine Corps Major who retired in 1997. He was a budget officer at Quantico during part of his Marine Career. Upon his retirement from the USMC he became Vice President of Finance for Dutko World, LLC in Washington, D.C.. He then began the business he still owns and operates.
