Washington and Lee Principal faces DWI charge
Washington and Lee High School Principal, Andrea Michelle Roane is facing misdemeanor driving charges, including driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and use of a handheld device while driving.

Westmoreland County officers responded to a call from a passerby around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday Feb. 12 that a car was either stuck or had been in an accident. When officers arrived at the scene and investigated, the three charges were placed against the driver, Roane.
According to Westmoreland County Sheriff C.O. Balderson, Roane appeared before the magistrate, spent the night, and was released on her own recognizance.
