Savor sweet strawberries and help Cople District VFD save lives
Strawberries galore (and homemade shortcake too) are coming to Kinsale for you on Mother’s Day Saturday, May 10, from 10-3 as a fund-raiser for Cople District VFD.
Face painting is definitely a great way to “dress up” for a special day.
So much will be going on in Kinsale you’ll want to spend quite awhile in town, having fun and listening to music by Helle Feller and Cold Steel Country, at events stretching from the Firehouse to the Park, behind Gray Barn Antiques and the old Bank.
There will be games, face-painting and other fun for kids, who can also sign up for library events, listen to stories, craft Mother’s Day gifts and buy books for their mothers!
Enjoy vendors, antique cars and tractors, as well as Old Dominion Soap, wine tastings from Vault Field, and smoothies by the Health Nut.
For more information or to reserve a booth, contact Lynn King, 804-214-0955, firstname.lastname@example.org.
The booth fee for folks other than non-profits is $10. Bring your own tables and chairs please. It will be outdoors so if you have a tent, bring a tent. (Keep praying for a pleasant sunny day.)
