Third Westmoreland County School employee charged with DWI
A third Westmoreland County School employee has been charged with a DWI. On Thursday, June 19 Vincent Romeo, a Montross Middle School Language Arts teacher was charged with driving while intoxicated following an accident in front of the Washington and Lee Motel, in which his car ended up in the pond.
Superintendent Rebecca Lowry has said that she is prepared to make a statement, which will be forthcoming.
His arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, June 24 at 9 a.m. in the Westmoreland County General District Court.
The two other Westmoreland County School employees, Andrea Roane and Russell Perry, have court dates that are also scheduled for Tuesday at 10 a.m.
