    The Washington and Lee Cross Country teams participated in the Fredericksburg All Area Cross Country Meet on Thursday, October 16.  The event held at Fredericksburg Christian High School hosted 14 high schools in the local region with over 350 runners.  The All-Area designation is given to the top 20 runners.   Finishing in 7th place for the boys varsity was W&L Eagle Hasan Gill with a personal record time of

  • Washington and Lee Eagles varsity football team takes down Northumberland, improves to 7-0

    Washington & Lee’s Marion Pollard shrugs off defenders.

    In a penalty-plagued match up against the undefeated Washington & Lee Eagles, the Northumberland varsity football team was dealt the short end of the stick as they lost 27-0.  Penalties killed a couple of drives by both teams, but three flags called back three apparent Northumberland touchdowns.
