Washington and Lee varsity baseball team’s defense fought hard to recover from an early deficit, delivering five perfect innings against the Essex Trojans in Round 1 of the Conference 43 tournament.     Drifters to host Round 1 game The Colonial Beach varsity baseball team wrapped up the regular season with a bang when they defeated the top-seeded Rappahannock Raiders 1-0.
