The NN Rivermen football team was home to face the Virginia Crusaders the reigning league Champions on Saturday August 9. Both team’s defenses were their strong points in the first half.     Kathryn Beddoo, an upcoming senior at Washington and Lee High School knows running. She has spent many years practicing and racing and winning. This is why she was invited to run in two races sponsored by Down Under Sports in Australia earlier this month. In doing so, she has added another run to her list, but was also afforded the opportunity to experience many things for the very first time.

    Rivermen defense swarms the Titans Qb.

    In their second game of the season, the Northern Neck Rivermen were pushed to the last seconds against the Virginia Titans.
