Vietnam worker to visits Good Shepherd Baptist

The community is invited to Sunday activities that will focus on current Lutheran sponsored community development projects in Vietnam, to be held Sunday, Aug. 11, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, located two miles west of Callao, on Rte. 202.     A group of young participants from Harvest of Hope visited several areas in the Northern Neck to find out how they can assist others, including Andrew Chapel Methodist Church (pictured above).

    Andrew Chapel Methodist Church hosted 50 high school students who are clearly the antithesis of the so-called “me generation.” There is comfort in knowing that they will inherit our world.  Andrew Chapel, along with other Northern Neck churches, provided meals for these young volunteers who came from Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and even as far away as Michigan.     Little Zion Baptist Church is inviting former prisoners to an event on helping their lives after jail.

    Prisoners and those who were incarcerated often times are unable to get their wishes of employment answered with a job offer. This is often merited upon their records and/or behaviors.
