Kinsale celebrates July fourth

The July 4th celebration in the town of Kinsale was a sight to behold for those raised in cities and suburbs because the entire event was a page out of a story book of old Americana.   • Wounded Warrior event is a success

    The 6th annual Battle at the Beach was held this past weekend at American Legion Post 148 in Colonial Beach. Ambassador for the EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) James Harrison noted that this wounded warrior event was held to help support the wounded bomb technicians who have served us. They had hoped to raise enough funds to help support 3 families. The day’s activities ended up netting $4050 for this cause.
