WYA 2nd Annual Car, Bike & Truck Show

On August 9th the Westmoreland Youth Association (WYA) held their 2nd Annual Car/Bike/Truck Show at the YMCA parking lot in Montross.  It was a beautiful fun filled day for all involved.  The WYA holds this annual event to raise money to purchase needed safety equipment.  This year we purchased new pants with pads and replaced shoulder pads.  We would like to thank our trophy sponsors, Northern Neck Chevrolet, Bareford Buick

    Ripley thanks sponsors and volunteers at the wounded warrior event held in Colonial Beach this past Sunday.

    The “First Annual Colonial Beach Bikefest” is the brainchild of several people including co-founder and radio DJ Ripley from 97.7 “Ripley on the Rocket” show broadcast in Southern MD, but heard throughout Westmoreland County in the afternoon.
