The Colonial Beach Rockfish Tournament was held on Saturday and Sunday, November 15 and 16, 2014. A total of 57 boats entered the two-day tournament sponsored by the Colonial Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Colonial Beach Volunteer Fire Department. Chris donated $500 of his winnings back to the Colonial Beach Volunteer Fire Department as a token of his appreciation for their dedicated service.   — See more results in

  • Local wineries taking part in oyster crawl

    On November 9, the vineyards on the Chesapeake Wine Trail will take part in the Second Annual Fall Oyster Crawl. The event will come at the tail end of the 57th annual Urbana Oyster Festival, Nov. 7-8 and complement the peaking oyster season.
