    Edwards   Barbara Crowther Stuart Edwards of Montross and Richmond died peacefully on March 5, 2015, at Westminster Canterbury in Richmond, Virginia. Born on November 22, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Augusta Walker and Otis Henderson Crowther of Northumberland County. She grew up on the family farm in Avalon and attended schools in the area. Mrs. Edwards held degrees from Longwood University and Virginia Commonwealth University.
