The Nomini Baptist Relay for Life Team will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on March 23 at Nomini Baptist Church from 4-7 p.m. The meal consists of spaghetti,salad, bread, desert and a beverage. Dine In or takeouts are available. The cost is $7. Donations are accepted.
Rosemary Mahan, Westmoreland County District 2 Supervisor, will hold town hall meetings this Saturday, March 23, at the following locations: Stratford Harbour Clubhouse: 10 a.m.; Glebe Harbor Clubhouse: 12:30 p.m. All Westmoreland County residents are welcome to attend. Supervisor Mahan will provide updates to ongoing county activities and is interested in hearing citizens’ viewpoints, ideas, and concerns.
Melrose United Methodist Church is hosting a Prom Clothes Shop and Swap on Sat. March 23 from 10am to 12pm and Sun. March 24 from 2pm to 4pm. Donate your lightly used prom clothes to help! Or, come by to swap or shop for this year’s Prom. Call 529-6344 for information.

Andrew Chapel United Methodist will play host to the “Apostle John” on Palm Sunday, March 24 at 11 a.m.. Pastor Shayne Estes will be lending his voice to deliver John’s message; “Hosanna! Blessed Is the King.” John will also be preaching at Edgewater United Methodist at 9:30 a.m. that same Sunday. Please come and join us for a unique worship experience.
Macedonia Baptist Church will host their annual Missionary Program at 3 p.m. Rev. Dennis Woodard of the Sylvannah Baptist Church, Spotsylvania will be the guest. Dinner will be served following the 11 a.m. service. All are welcome. The church is located at 1081 Macedonia Lane, Colonial Beach.
