Lost in the Woods Forestry Workshop: Virginia Cooperative Extension in the Northern Neck, King George, and Essex Counties is partnering with the Department of Forestry, Virginia State University, Department of Conservation and Recreation, and Three Rivers Forestry to offer the workshop for owners of small to large woodlots who need basic management and resource information. The Montross Community will sponsor an American Red Cross Blood Drive from 12 noon until 6 p.m. at the Montross Volunteer Rescue Squad Building on Lyells Street. The Red Cross especially needs donors with O negative, B negative, and A negative blood types. Please have valid ID, eat a good meal, and drink plenty of water.
