    1. ‘Hiking with Your Dog’
      10:00 am – 12:30 pm

      “Hiking with Your Dog” at Belle Isle State Park at 10 a.m.  The program will cover what to bring with your dog, basic canine first aid, and how to make your dog welcome on area trails.  The program begins at the Canoe Launch area and will include a hike by a marsh and through the woods.  Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome to attend.

    1. Project WET workshop

      Belle Isle State Park will host a Project WET workshop on from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The workshop is free and will feature lessons about wetlands and water quality to take home. To register call the park at 462-5030.

      Book Sale! Spring opening March 7, 8 & 9  held 10 am – 2 p.m. on Main St in Warsaw next to Union Bank – thousands of books – each $1 or less The Rappahannock Community College Friends of the Library book sale is scheduled to be open every Friday and Saturday through May and all proceeds benefit the local library.
