The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Mid-Tidewater affiliate, will be offering a “Connection” support group for adults living with mental illness beginning Monday, October 28. Meetings will be held every Monday from 6 – 7:30 p.m. in the Grace Episcopal Church (rear entrance) located on Main Street in Kilmarnock. NAMI Connection offers a safe, relaxed, and supportive environment where adults living with mental illness, regardless of the diagnosis, can share, listen and learn about the challenges and successes of coping with mental illness. Each meeting is free and lasts for 90 minutes.
