Kid-safe “Trunk N Treat” for the community will be hosted by Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Callao, Halloween, 6-8 pm, rain or moonshine, in the church parking lot. Neighborhood youth of all ages are invited to dress up, be seen at the event, receive Halloween treats, catch prizes from a Fishing Pond, have their picture taken in costume as a memento, and learn about the real meaning of Halloween. Trunk N Treat will be held in the parking lot of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1717 Hampton Hall Road – 2 miles West of Callao on VA 202.
Talent Show and Silent Auction at Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church , Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. You are invited to enjoy a show with a variety of acts including music, magic, and drama. Movie night at Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church, Saturday, Nov. 2 at 5 p.m. We will also serve a light meal beforehand. The movie we’re showing is great for any football fan or anyone else who needs a message of hope.
Lebanon United Methodist Church at Templemans, Va., will hold its annual Homecoming at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3. All are welcome to attend the service and a covered dish luncheon afterward. The Gospel Vibrations, a local gospel quartet active in the 1970s, will reunite to provide special music. Lebanon UMC is located on Neenah Road.
