The Westmoreland Garden Club will meet on March 5 at 1:30 in the clubrooms located in the bottom of the museum on Polk Street in Montross. In anticipation of the arrival of spring, the program will be on “Practical Plant Propagation.” Each member is encouraged to bring in seeds and cuttings to exchange. Guests and new members are welcome.

Lost in the Woods Forestry Workshop: Virginia Cooperative Extension in the Northern Neck, King George, and Essex Counties is partnering with the Department of Forestry, Virginia State University, Department of Conservation and Recreation, and Three Rivers Forestry to offer the workshop for owners of small to large woodlots who need basic management and resource information.
