Angel Visit Baptist Church, Dunnsville, Va., will observe its 51st Annual Men and Boys’ Day on Sunday, Nov. 11. The theme for the celebration is “Dressed to Win the Battle.”
A fellowship breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. in the William Amos Young Fellowship Hall. Deacon Ricky Coston, Jr., of Good Hope Baptist Church, Dunnsville, Va., will be the breakfast speaker.
The celebration will continue with the morning worship service at 10 a.m. The Reverend Dr. Larry Williams, Sr., Pastor of the Olive Grove Baptist Church, Norfolk, Va., will deliver the message. Dr. Williams is a retired U.S. Army Chaplain who attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Music will be rendered by the Spiritual Harmonizers of Northern Virginia.
A special feature of the day will be the recognition of persons who have served in the Armed Forces. Area veterans as well as those persons who currently serve in the Armed Forces will be honored.
