      10:00 am – 11:00 am

      St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Colonial Beach invites the community to a series of storytelling conversations on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. in the Parish Hall. St. Mary’s is located at 203 Dennison Street. Special: New Clothes for a Bishop, Nov. 9 at 5 p.m. The first woman bishop in the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia, the Rt. Rev. Susan Goff, will talk about the spirituality of the arts. She’ll be joined by Susan Tilt of Colonial Beach, who designed the vestments for the bishop’s July consecration. Sunday, Nov. 11: A Country Boy Serves His Country. Jim Colvard will talk about the journey that took him from the hills of North Carolina to the position of presidential appointee. The former technical director of NSWC Dahlgren will focus on his managerial philosophy of respect for people.
