    Nineteen high school seniors representing all parts of the state have been selected to receive the 2015 The Allstate Foundation / VHSL Achievement Award, the highest honor given by the Virginia High School League, to students who have excelled in the classroom and in athletic and academic activities. A luncheon to honor this year’s winners will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 11 at the Omni Hotel in Charlottesville.

    Washington and Lee’s Danny Mundy played a central role in his team’s victory over Northumberland.

    The Washington & Lee Baseball Team finished its first full week of conference competition in impressive fashion.  With wins against Rappahannock and Northumberland, the Eagles improved their overall record to 8 – 5 and their conference record to 3 – 0.
