Spring is right around the corner and now is a good time to spend the evening meeting and greeting the artists of Colonial Beach. Your first stop is the Potomac River Fisheries on Taylor Street, four of our local artists have gotten together with their best artworks.
Beginning at JarrettThor Fine Arts gallery we have oil painting of Jan Gagnon – ‘Life through a Brush’ plus the gallery will be holding a special raffle. Across the street, on Hawthorn you will find Pottery by Hand and Studio A where a plethora of artists will have everything on exhibit from paintings to sculpture to pottery. Heading down Hawthorn Street, Riverview Inn is hosting James Roach’s portraits in oil as well as three other local and well-known artists. Further down Hawthorn Street, Esco Limited will also be open where you can find handmade jewelry and other items for sale. Next door Visions by Shirl will host fabric artist Judith McIrvin.
Just as a reminder, admission is always free to the public, refreshments are served and the people are friendly. Enjoy a pleasant evening at our 2nd Friday Art Walk.
