There will be a photo booth set up, basket raffles and a couple game similar to the Newlywed game. Tickets are on sale at the Cooper Branch Library, or any of the scouts as well as that day of the Colonial Beach High School.

Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury’s Viewpoint Series featuring author, Charlotte Wood @ Chesapeake Center Auditorium at RWC

Remembering for Both of Us: A Child Learns About Alzheimer’s is the touching story of a child’s first glimpse of Alzheimer’s and a reminder that ties of the heart transcend age and illness.

Charlotte Wood, author of Remembering for Both of Us: A Child Learns About Alzheimer’s, will be at the Chesapeake Center Auditorium on Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury’s campus (132 Lancaster Dr, Irvington, VA 22480) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. as part of their 2016 Viewpoint Series. The Viewpoints series, which RWC started in 2002, features experts on a wide range of topics of current interest. Reservations are required for this event, as space is limited. Reservations will open on March 21st and can be made by calling (804) 438-4000. Attendees are invited to remain after the presentation for a complimentary buffet luncheon.

8th Annual Virtual Candlelight Vigil @ Facebook

The Cross family & friends request that you join us on Monday April 11th from 6 pm – 9 pm by lighting a candle in loving memory of Paul Martin Cross or for anyone that has been affected by violent crime of any kind. Post your picture of your candle and if you like yourself on facebook. Invite your friends if they do not have access to a computer they can contact me and I will make sure there picture is posted.
We are requesting that donations of any amount go to the Westmoreland County Victim Witness Program. The donations will be used to purchase Bay Transit tickets for victims to travel back and forth to court or gas gift cards for the folks that have cars. (the program has no funds for transportation)
If you would like to make a donation in memory of Paul or anyone else please let me know. We thank you for kindness and support over the years!
