It was hard to see who was more excited, the parents or the participating students. Cople Elementary School fair was well-attended by both as families gathered together for the second annual science fair to celebrate the joys of science. The halls were lined with hundreds of exciting science projects and parents and visitors were dazzled by the plethora of topics as they explored the 165 science projects which were created by the students in grades 3-5. The pre-K through second grade students entered the science fair as a class project and submitted one class project each. Many of the projects had unique and clever titles such as “This is a Stick Up,” “Sour Stain Fighters,”, and Paper Towel Body Builders.” Students were awarded some wonderful prizes at the culminating awards program on Monday, March 27, 2017.
