Drifters capture win in OT

The Colonial Beach Boys and Girls Teams combined played three games this season and it was the ladies who claimed the only win in week three.

On the road at West Point last Thursday, the ladies won in overtime at West Point 52-45. The team was led by Billie Gould who had a double-double with 12 points, 13 rebounds and five assists.

Colonial Beach’s Caneisha Fulcher finds some space by a West Point defender in the team’s overtime 52-45 win last Thursday.

Karley Inscoe chipped in, scoring a team high of 18 points, followed by Caneishia Fulcher with nine, Meghan Seaman with seven, and Emily Parks, Deniya Newman and Tniyza Taylor each with two.

Earlier in the week the ladies fell to King George.

In the girls’ game, Inscoe led the team with 20 points and collecting seven rebounds. Fulcher and Seaman added to the cause with 11 points each followed by Gould with four and McKenzie Conway with two.
