Tappahannock Concert Series features Rattlesnake Creek Bluegrass Band. Six concerts are set for the Summer with musical acts of all genres. Family-friendly concerts are held on Friday from June to September. Field concerts $12 in advance, $15 at the gate. The concerts at the waterfront are free! Shows start at 6:30 p.m. No coolers, beverages and food will be available.

Montross Community Blood Drive will be held at the Montross Volunteer Rescue Squad Building on Lyells Street on Tuesday, July 2 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. This is a change in hours. Remember to drink plenty of water, eat a good meal, and bring a photo ID. Free Red Cross hats while they last!
The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association Northern Neck Chapter 1823 will meet on Tuesday, July 2, at 1 p.m., for a tour of the historic Christ Church, on Route 646 in Irvington.
