The theme “Melanoma Night” started last year when senior Ali Jones was battling Melanoma. In the middle of the volleyball season Jones completed her last chemotherapy treatment and was pronounced cancer free.

To help raise awareness about this disease, the eagles decided to have a melanoma night in honor of Jones. Donations will be taken at the ticket gate in the for the fight against melanoma. All the money raised will go to the University of Cancer Research Foundation for Melanoma in honor of Ali Jones.

“Eagles Beat Melanoma” T-shirts will also be sold this week week for $10. Anyone who buys one of these T-shirts will get into the game for free if they make a $1 donation at the door.

If you are unable to purchase one of these shirts, you can still support the eagles by wearing the color black to the game.
