Hutt-Passagaluppi wed

The marriage of Miss Viola Maria Amorosa Passagaluppi, daughter of Mr. David W. Passagaluppi of Center Cross, Va., and Mr. and Mrs. Donald W. Bartlett, of New Kent, to Mr. William Andrew Hutt Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs.  William A. Hutt Sr., of Kinsale, took place on July 7 at Rappahannock Christian Church in Dunnsville. The marriage was  officiated by Dr. Kenneth Wilbur.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ann Dougherty, of Center Cross, and the late Mr. John L. Passagaluppi; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Amorosa.

The groom is the grandson of  Mrs. Ann Hutt, of Newland, and the late Mr. Veolo Hutt; Mrs. Betty Mae Hayes, of Kinsale, and the late Mr. Earl D Hayes Jr.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents

Miss Carmina Passagaluppi, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor and Mrs. Angela P. Mozingo, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Kelsey Farmer, friend of the bride, and Miss Nicole Rittenhouse, niece of the bride.

Miss Ella Mozingo and Miss Neenah Clark served as flower girls.

Mr. William A. Hutt Sr., father of the groom, and Harold Mozingo, brother-in-law of the bride, served as best men. Groomsmen were Mr. Cole Vanover, friend of the groom, Mr. William Rittenhouse, nephew of the bride.

Ushers were Mr. James Rittenhouse and Mr. David Rittenhouse, brothers of the bride.

Mistress of ceremony were Mrs. Kelly Rittenhouse and Mrs. Michelle Rittenhouse, sisters-in-law of the bride.

The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom’s parents, took place at Lowery’s Restaurant in Tappahannock, Virginia. The wedding reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, took place at St Margaret’s in Tappahannock, Virginia.

The bride graduated from Essex High School and furthered her education at Virginia Commonwealth University where she received her Bachelor’s of Interdisciplinary Studies in early elementary education. She teaches Head Start at Washington District Elementary School in Oak Grove, and coaches JV volleyball at W&L High School.

The groom graduated from Washington and Lee High School and furthered his education at Virginia Commonwealth University where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in health and physical education. He teaches health and physical education at Washington and Lee High School where he also coaches volleyball and baseball.

After a honeymoon in St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands the couple will reside in Kinsale.
