The W&L Lady Eagles won the NND regular season with an (11-1) regional record and were the runner-up in the NND tournament. They had two home matches in the NND tournament on Tuesday, October 23, against the Lancaster Lady Red Devils. The Lady Eagles defeated the Lady Red Devils (3-1). They took control of the first set and won (25-16) and they loss the second set (22-25) to make it (1-1). The Lady Raiders regrouped and took the third set (25-15) to be up (2-1). The visitor would not go away, and the fourth set went to extra points and the home team won (26-24) to take the semi-finals game (3-1). In the tournament championship game, the Lady Eagles faced the Northumberland Lady Indians. They won the first set (25-21) to be ahead (1-0). They went ahead in the second set (7-2) and (15-8) but the Lady Indians tied the score (18-18) and won (22-25) to tie the sets (1-1). The Lady Indians went up in the third set and won (20-25) to make it (1-2). The tightly played fourth set went to the Lady Indians (21-25) as well as the tournament championship (1-3). The Lady Eagles senior outside hitter AC Harding was named NND Player of the Year and Head Coach Drew Hutt was named Coach of the Year. Other awards were the NND All- District teams, 1st Team AC Harding, Anna Boswell, Makaila Veney, and 2nd team Kennise Gray. All-Academic list Zierra Sutton, AC Harding, Anna Boswell, Maddie Harris, Maci Sydnor, Trinity Fauntleroy, Megan Smith, and Alicen McIntosh. The Lady Eagles will host a first round 1A East regional tournament match on Tuesday, October 30.
