On Thursday, July 20, a search warrant was executed by the Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office for Jamey M. Turner, 43, of Montross, at a residence in the 60 Block of Colony Way (Cabin Point Subdivision). An arrest warrant was also obtained which was served on Wednesday, July 26, subsequent to Mr. Turner turning himself in at the sheriff’s office.
According to Westmoreland County Sheriff C.O. Balderson, Turner was arrested without incident for one charge of distribution of schedule I or II controlled substance namely cocaine, having previous convictions. He is being held at Northern Neck Regional Jail without bond. On Friday, July 28, Turner was served three additional counts of the same charge. His first court appearance was on Tuesday, August 1, in Westmoreland County General District Court.
