Lucy Marjorie Brown Johnson
Lucy Marjorie Brown Johnson, 87, of Hague, the most wonderful mother and wife, passed away on October 17, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Roy William Patrick Johnson.
She was a member of White Stone Church of the Nazarene, and enjoyed running the family business, RWP Johnson Associates, Inc., and RWP Johnson Products LTD.
In her younger years, she served as Corporal in the British Army in England.
She is survived by her daughters, Denise Marjorie Johnson Mingo, and her husband, Clay, of Hague and Vivian Grace Hardiman Johnson Renton of Heathsville;
two sons, David Roy Johnson and his wife, Joan, of Lancaster and Ian Michael William Johnson and his wife, Sheryl, of Wicomico Church; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Sunday, October 20, 2013, at Faulkner Family Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Burgess, Virginia.
Burial will be private.

James Allison Bowen
James Allison Bowen, 86, of Hague, a self-employed waterman, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013.
He was a U. S. Army veteran, member of Coles Point United Methodist Church, Montross Moose Lodge, and VFW, Warsaw.
He is survived by brothers, Carroll E. Bowen, Johnny Bowen, Joseph “Frankie” Bowen (Linda), and Randolph Bowen (Laurie), all of Hague and sister Mary Elizabeth “Polly” Brooks of Falls Church, Va. He was preceded in death by brothers, Elwood Bowen, Harold E. Bowen and William A. Bowen and sister, F. Virginia Evans.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013 at Coles Point United Methodist Church. Reverend Reggie Rumburg officiated. Interment was in Carmel United Methodist Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Calvin Balderson, Wesley Bowen, Charles Edward Brooks, John Jenkins, Craig Jenkins, Ricky Bowen, Jr. and Blake Tolson.

Helen M. Chiarizia
Helen M. Chiarizia, 97, of Ebb Tide Beach passed away Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at Heritage Hall.
She was the widow of Steve Chiarizia and a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include daughter Betty Wenzel (Dell) of Waldorf, Md.; son Steve Chiariazia (Maureen) of LaPlata, Md.; four grandchildren, Brian, Lysa (Evin), Dale (Gillian) and Donna; four great-grandchildren, Brittany, Bethany, Dillon and Madalyn; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Andrew and Joseph.
The family received friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home, Colonial Beach.
Helen’s funeral Mass was celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Colonial Beach, with the Rev. Francis M. de Rosa officiating. Interment followed in Historyland Memorial Park, King George.
