Photographer and philosopher, Vernon Bailey brings his new exhibit, “Path of Light,” to the Westmoreland County Museum for the November Pop ’N Art series. For this show, he tells the Biblical story of searching for goodness and light, in part through a series of photos of mainly local church windows. Meet Bailey when the show opens with an artist’s reception Wednesday, November 20 from 5 to 7 p.m.
This show is an extension of his and his wife Angela’s April 2018 show, “Mother, Nature and Son” in which they shared photos and other memorabilia to encourage viewers to reflect on spiritual symbols of Mary, the natural and Jesus. “‘Path of Light,’” he said, “is a story about a Father, His love and His compassion for His children as they live their lives. It is told through words, song and art.
