On Friday, November 16, personnel from Peoples Community Bank presented the Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office with a $473 donation to support Project Lifesaver. During the Montross Fall Festival, Peoples Community Bank hosted an Annual Classic Car and Truck Show. During this year’s event, donations were coordinated by Mrs. Jen Dixon, Mrs. Glenda Jenkins, and Mr. Georges Saison to support the continuing efforts of this program.
The Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office offers this service to county residents who enroll in the program due to having a cognitive condition that makes them likely to wander from caregivers. For more information concerning Project Lifesaver, please contact Major John L. Hoover, III at (804) 493-8066. There is no charge to enroll.
“I want to thank Peoples Community Bank and those personnel who made this possible.,” said Sheriff C. O. Balderson.“The partnerships that have been forged between the Sheriff’s Office and our community makes Project Lifesaver as well as other initiatives successful.”
