Raising funds and awareness for Project Lifesaver

Posted on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 11:07 am

The Westmoreland Ruritans presented a check for $300 to the Project Lifesaver program that helps deputies locate persons suffering from Dementia, Autism, and other cognitive conditions. This program is free of charge to the participants through the sheriff’s office. However, donations assist in the effort to offer this service to the community. Anyone interested in donating to this important program may do so by contacting Major Hoover at 804-493-8066.

“Thank you to the members of the Westmoreland Ruritans for your support and generosity,” said Sheriff C.O. Balderson.
