Wednesday, December 5
Mary Young Tracy will hold Decorative Workshops at Stratford Hall from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 2 p.m. Learn how to make a Hogarth Curve, holiday topiary, boxwood tree and kissing ball. Call 804-493-1972 to register.

Thursday, December 6
The Rappatomac Writers Critique Group will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Lively at The Oaks. Greet and eat lunch at 11 a.m., meet and share your creativity from 11:30 to 2 p.m.

Friday, December 7
Montross hosts its annual Christmas Spirit Festival. Courtyard Activities 6 p.m. Other activities all day.
* Drop by the Firehouse for the 3rd Annual Holiday Bazaar…food, crafts and more. 11 AM – 8 PM today.
* Visit the CARROT COTTAGE for an Open House…specials, door prize, refreshments 10 AM – 8 PM today.

Christmas on Cockrells Creek returns with house tours on Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Santa will make his annual visit to town aboard the Elva C.
