Fifty – two colleges, some from as far away as Bowling Green, Ohio, descended upon Washington & Lee High School as they hosted the seventh annual VACRAO College Fair. This year’s fair offered parents and students a plethora of choices. The schools were as varied as The Apprentice School, where a student can earn as they learn to the awesome Virginia Military Institute. Each were represented by enthusiastic members of the Virginia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (VACRAO).
Over a hundred parents and students visited the booths and learned about educational opportunities. Students from the GRASP and GEAR UP programs assisted the high school counselors and college advisors throughout the evening. Everyone was excited to have VACRAO visit the Eagle’s community and reach out to our rural area.
