New Jerusalem Baptist Church celebrates homecoming with guest pastor Dr. Louis W. Hackett of Garland First Baptist Church, Garland, NC. Dinner served after the 11 a.m. service. Revival 7:30 p.m. Monday- Friday, Sept. 9-13 with Dr. Ralph A. Martino, pastor of First Church of Christ (Holiness), Washington, DC. Theme is Kingdom Encounter & Impartation.

2019 Northern Neck First Responders Softball Tournament, Callao Ruritan Lot, 185 Ruritan Lane, begins 8 a.m. $5 raffle for door prizes. Proceeds to Lancaster Co Deputy Santa Program. Hosted by LCSO & VSP.

Colonial Beach United Methodist Church hosts its annual Mini-Bazaar and Spaghetti Dinner   4 – 7 p.m. Bazaar will continue on Saturday, October 12 from 8 a.m. – noon.

CONTINUING EVENTS

Westmoreland County Triad/SALT (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together) meets every fourth Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office (behind the new courthouse in Montross). Triad is a non-profit crime information and prevention partnership between seniors, law enforcement, and local businesses to provide seniors and their care-givers information they need to avoid being victims of crime – scams, burglaries, identification theft, home invasions, elder abuse, and more. Westmoreland Ruritan Club, a civic service organization of men and women, meets at 7 p.m. the 2nd Monday of every month at the American Legion Post, 14576 Kings Hwy, Montross. The Ruritan mission is Fellowship, Goodwill, and Community Service. Join us for fellowship and to help the community.

Westmoreland NAACP meets the second Tuesday of each month at Galilee Baptist Church, Montross at 6:30 pm.
