Richmond County Department of Emergency Services and RCVFD have partnered with The American Red Cross to bring FREE smoke detectors to the citizens of Richmond County. Rappahannock Chapter, Daughters of the War of 1812 meet at Yeocomico Parish Church, 1219 Old Yeocomico Road, Kinsale. Bring a lunch, eat at 11:30 p.m. before the 1 p.m. meeting. Richmond County Unit of the NAACP invites community members and friends to engage in dialog with candidates to serve Richmond County and Virginia. It is citizens responsibility to voice concerns and hold our leaders accountable for their actions as candidates and potential elected officials. Edgewater UMC, Tidwells, homecoming service 11 a.m.; covered dish luncheon to follow.

Ebenezer UMC, 144 Ebenezer Church Rd, Oldhams continues the “Love Movement Outreach to the Community” at 9:30 a.m. for a coffee welcome, 10:15 a.m. special song service, 11 a.m. sermon by Pastor Rebecca Rumburg with lunch following.
