The W&L Lady Eagles varsity basketball team were home versus the Caroline Lady Cavaliers on Thursday, December 6. The teams traded the lead until the Lady Cavaliers went up (36-39) with less than one-minute left. The quarter ended with the Lady Eagles down (38-42). The deficit was cut to one (43-44) with 5:08 left in the fourth. “Once we got into foul trouble, the players were tentative to make plays or apply pressure on defense.
