The 6th annual Battle at the Beach was held this past weekend at American Legion Post 148 in Colonial Beach. Ambassador for the EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) James Harrison noted that this wounded warrior event was held to help support the wounded bomb technicians who have served us. They had hoped to raise enough funds to help support 3 families. The day’s activities ended up netting $4050 for this cause.bad-at-eod

Harrison noted that 5 entertainers donated their time and talents to play for the gathered crowd throughout the day on Saturday. In addition, they were selling BBQ and chicken dinners as well as having other fundraisers.

The King George High School Colorguard started the event off with a presentation of flags.
