Last Friday was the term day for Westmoreland County’s Circuit Court, which meant assembling a grand jury to look over cases and hand out indictments.
Cody Endicott’s case was among the batch.
Endicott was arrested on February 3 of this year, after allegedly shooting Montana McGinnis during a heated argument. McGinnis’ guardian angel must’ve been working overtime that night, as McGinnis was rushed to the hospital, where he was expected to eventually recover.
In the days following his arrest, Endicott was initially slated to be granted bond, but statements in his favor by McGinnis’ family were retracted, resulting in him being held without bail and his case eventually being certified to the Circuit Court. His case will come before the court again on September 6.
